Located less than 650 feet from the Bellas Artes Museum and 5 minutes’ walk from Havana main square, Mercure Sevilla features a swimming pool, sun terrace and a fitness centre. The hotel has a rich history and has been a popular meeting place for Cuban high society from the time of its inauguration in 1908. In the 1930s, the notorious mobster Santo Trafficante had shares in the hotel and Al Capone and his mob lived on the 6th Floor of the hotel whilst looking after their ‘business’ interests in Havana.
