New to this heaven is the Nora Beach Resort & Spa. Nora may just be starting off but friendly staff and its unique Southern Thai atmosphere is backed by hundreds of years of Thai hospitality. The architecture is classic Thai style and there is a beautiful stream running from a pool in the lobby which meanders through the gardens and eventually cascades into a waterfall in the Thai gulf. The hotel is located about a 10 minute drive from Samui Airport and there is a daily shuttle service from the resort to Chaweng Beach.
Accommodation; The Nora Beach has 113 rooms and villas which are spacious and all have views of the ocean or gardens. All are tastefully decorated and feature flat screen TV, telephone, safes, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and bathrobes.
Facilities; The hotel’s main restaurant is the Prasuthon which offers a wide variety of food from ancient Thai recipes to western cuisine. Many of the ingredients come from the gardens in the hotel. The pool bar serves light snacks during the day. Nightcaps can be enjoyed in the lobby bar. A large swimming pool has its own Jacuzzi and a swim up bar, daily shuttle to the beach where snorkelling can be enjoyed. There is gym with personal trainer and a spa offering various treatments.
