Following a night in Nairobi to relax and perhaps enjoy a historic city tour or a delightful restaurant, depart early in the morning on safari to Amboseli. This safari covers the shimmering plains of Amboseli and then continues Tsavo West and Taita Hills. Here you will certainly see some great herds of elephant and antelope before continuing to Mombasa’s spectacular coast.

Day 1. Nairobi Upon arrival into Nairobi, clients will be met and transferred to the Eka hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the Eka hotel in a superior room on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2. Nairobi - Amboseli After a leisurely breakfast, depart Nairobi with a picnic lunch and head south east towards Amboseli. On arrival, there is game viewing en route to the lodge, arriving as the sun sets. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge on a full board basis.
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park. The lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. As the only sources of water in the park, this attracts huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffalos and plains game.
At the heart of the lodge, shaded by palm trees, is a free form swimming pool; to either side of which stretch the rooms. Each tastefully appointed room features a Maasai inspired, hand-painted, wall fresco, king-sized bed or luxurious twins, lavish all-encompassing mosquito curtaining, bathroom (with walk-in shower), writing/ vanity unit, and private veranda. Day 3. Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park Following a morning gamedrive the rest of the morning is at leisure followed by lunch at the lodge. Following Lunch, depart to Tsavo West. The journey takes you east, across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. A zig zagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads you into Tsavo National Park, which together (East and West) form the largest of Kenya’s parks. On arrival, enjoy game-viewing en route to your lodge arrive at your lodge as the sun sets. Overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge on a full board basis.
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge Superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro and sheltered by the volcanic splendour of the Chyulu Hills, this classic stone-built lodge overlooks its own water hole, which is visited daily by elephants, buffalos and a wide variety of plains game. One of the first lodges ever to be built in a national park, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-viewing. It is also ideally placed for visits to all the park’s prime attractions.
All the spacious en-suite rooms have their own verandas, some overlooking the waterhole, some the Chyulu Hills, which are one of the world’s youngest volcanic ranges. As for activities, the lodge offers numerous game drives, guided walks, bush breakfasts, volcano climbs and trips to Mzima Springs, a set of crystal-clear ponds, fed by the melt waters of Mount Kilimanjaro, in which the many hippos can be viewed from a submerged chamber.
Day 4. Tsavo West National Park – Taita Hills Game Reserve This morning enjoy a game drive in the park, including a visit to Mzima Springs with its underwater viewing holes. Following lunch at the lodge, continue to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary for rest of the afternoon at leisure, viewing game from lodge’s underground hide or from the lodge balconies. Overnight at Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge on fullboard basis
Saltlick Lodge Salt Lick Lodge is located in the heart of a private Wildlife Sanctuary which lies adjacent to Tsavo National Park, therefore playing an increasingly important role in the protection and conservation of Kenya’s wildlife heritage. The entire lodge is raised on stilts, providing 24-hour game viewing opportunities from any corner of the lodge. The rooms are built in two storey blocks from a central pod and linked together by elevated platforms – overlooking a salt slick and small waterhole. Each room is spacious and beautifully appointed, featuring exquisite ethnic décor in keeping with the Tsavo environment Rooms are spacious and have all the necessary modern conveniences. The restaurant, bar and main balconies have views over the water hole and salt lick, which is constantly in use by local park residents. There is also an underground hide for closer encounters.
Day 5. Taita Hills – Mombasa Following breakfast, depart on a morning game drive in Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Lunch will be provided at Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge before continuing your journey to Mombasa, aiming to reach your North or South Coast beach hotel by late afternoon. End of Services.
